When going to basic training in the Army there were things that you have to conquer and have to be able to achieve even in your fearfulness of those things. It has been years since I was in basic training but those things that I learned and overcame as a young man then I now use even to this day to accomplish things. The training that I was given even comes out just as an instinct because of those months training in Basic. Those things have given me the ability to move pass certain things in my life.

HERE IT IS…

Things you may be going through may not be understood. The things that you have encountered through your life and overcome in life may not make sense as to why you went through it. The great thing that I have learned about training is that those things will always be with you and when you find yourself in a situation those things that you learned will come out because of the training you have been through. Use those skills and those trainings and allow God to do the rest. You will win. You will survive. You will be victorious. Use your training. God will fight your battles and your war. Raise your hands in victory now because you have won.

It fits you

“A final word: Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil.”

‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭6:10-11‬ ‭NLT‬‬

In war there is a specific uniform that you have to wear. In the military we had uniforms for every occasion. In war we had what was called BDU’s. BDU stood for Battle Dress Uniforms. When we wore those it was a statement that if anything broke out we were ready. The uniform had pockets and also certain things on it that went along with the other attire and gadgets we had to wear. When worn this was our the what made us ready for the battle that was going to come. Everything we needed to be ready was on this. However, it didn’t come with protection already in it.

HERE IT IS…

Our spiritual BDUs is the armor of God. It’s not only a uniform but it comes with everything you need to protect you in battle. As the verse says you put this on so that you will be able to stand firm against the strategies of the enemy. See the military uniform was just the that, a uniform. But the armor of God gives you the ability and the tools that will help you to withstand the advances of the enemies. When they try to attack your mind, your protected. When they try to attack your body, your protected. Anything that may try to come against you it covers your whole body. Put it on it’s necessary.

It’s not your place to do that

“Do all that you can to live in peace with everyone. Dear friends, never take revenge. Leave that to the righteous anger of God. For the Scriptures say, “I will take revenge; I will pay them back,” says the Lord.”

Oh boy this one is hard to talk about because there are some people who has or are devising a plan to get back at someone for what they did to them. Or hoping and wishing that a persons down fall comes because of what they did to them. We, as Christians, should never pray for someone else’s fall or pain. No matter what happen or what they did to you there is no reason to hope that someone falls in any capacity. It is not your place to get revenge or a get back at them. Let God handle God problems. “But they hurt me” I get it they did some stuff to you that you would not want anyone to go through. So why wish it on them just because they did to you?

HERE IT IS…

In a war situation that is the way war keeps going. You did this to me so I am going to do something back. Each time it gets worse and worse. Not even realizing that what they did to you wasn’t even that person doing it but the spirit of evil working in them. We often times hold carnal people for spiritual evil that came against you. You have to be able to get into a place spiritually that your able to see pass the person and see the spirit that’s in them. This spirit of war is not just what we think and have been trained to think it is of guns and battlefields. This first starts in the mind. Allow God to do what he does and fight the things we cannot see.

War

“We use God’s mighty weapons, not worldly weapons, to knock down the strongholds of human reasoning and to destroy false arguments. We destroy every proud obstacle that keeps people from knowing God. We capture their rebellious thoughts and teach them to obey Christ. And after you have become fully obedient, we will punish everyone who remains disobedient.”

As a soldier in the United States Army one of the first things they tell you to think about is the changing of your thinking. My drill Sgt. told our platoon was “whatever you think you know,forget it. “. The reason is because the way that the US Army fights is totally different than the way we fought or thought for that matter. They told us that we fight wars because they have to not because they want to. So here in the army of the Lord whatever you think you know about fighting, forget it. In our fights we fight the enemy that’s in front of us. In the army of the Lord we fight things that are all around us.

HERE IT IS…

In this fight that we are fighting we don’t have to use physical weapons of mad destruction. We dont have to use physical ammo. We dont have to use physical bombs. We use the weapons of pray. We use the weapon of Gods wisdom. We use the weapon of Gods word. We are at war everyday. We are at war against the spiritual master minds that try to get us to tell us that we are not who God says we are. We are at war against the things that try to tear our family’s apart. We are at war against the things that try to enter into our mind. In this war you have to fight. However, it’s not with physical weapons, but with weapons of soul saving power.

It’s time

““The time promised by God has come at last!” he announced. “The Kingdom of God is near! Repent of your sins and believe the Good News!””

I have an announcement to make. It’s going to be a big announcement. I hope your ready for it. This announcement is going to not only affect your life and my life but the lives of so many other people. This announcement will help everyone that is connected to you and to me. This announcement is one of epic proportions. Are you ready? Here it is. Your time has come! It’s your time NOW! Don’t wait! Don’t hesitate! Don’t procrastinate. Your time is right here, right now. It is time for you and for me to go and get all that God has promised us.

HERE IT IS…

Where ever you are, where ever you May be in your life. Whatever circumstance you may be facing. Whatever problems, whatever you feel hurt about. Whatever may be affecting your body. Whatever person in your life that is not functioning in their full potential. It is tome and the time is NOW. Get up. Get prepared. Get geared up. Stir up the gifts that God has for you and go get everything that is waiting on you. It’s time. It’s now. It is not time to waste. God is saying stand up and know that I am God and watch your world and everyone and in it change. ITS YOUR TIME NOW!!!

Trust his plan

“For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.”

‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭29:11‬ ‭NLT‬‬

When I was about to graduate high school I can remember making plans on what I wanted to do with my life and career. I can remember telling my parents what I wanted to do and where I wanted to go. I had plans on where I wanted to go and what to do. My parents also had their own plan of what they would like to see me do. The had a plan of what I would be good at doing. We all made plans we all had an idea we all had a thought of what we wanted to see happen. The truth is that your plans may not and sometimes won’t align with Gods plan.

HERE IT IS…

God said he knows the plans he has for you. He tells us that the plan he has is to make sure that we prosper and have a good life. His plan is for us to be a help to the kingdom. His plan is for us to help someone else. His plan is much bigger and better than our plan. His timing is not our timing nor is his ways our ways. Matter of fact, our plans has so many flaws and loopholes in it. While Gods plan is planned out from the time you go to sleep to what you eat for your breakfast. He knows every detail and every decision you will make. Who’s plan and timing will you trust?

The right timing

“When we were utterly helpless, Christ came at just the right time and died for us sinners.”

‭‭Romans‬ ‭5:6‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Think about a baby when they are first born. Within the first 3 months we have to learn that babies needs and wants and understand them in what they want and asking for. The one most thing that hurts me when my kids were born was when they would be crying and I had to let them cry for just a moment to get what they wanted ready. Hearing that cry was hurtful and painful. Because the way they cried was loud, hurtful, and in agony. And as it grew louder and louder at one point they would for some reason start to calm down before I got to them.

HERE IT IS…

Go back to the time when you were and felt helpless. The situation you were in no one could or had the means to help you out. The only thing you could do was to sit there in it and in essence cry out like a baby. In agony, crying. In pain, crying. In disparate need, crying. When were in our need for what we needed and wanted to get out. God came and showed up with his son Jesus in the right time to save you. To pull you out. To rescue you. To bless you. It is in our helpless, unfortunate, desolate place. He comes and grabs you and places you in a safe place. Just in the right timing. Sometimes you have to cry a while.

Including God.

“But I am trusting you, O Lord, saying, “You are my God!” My future is in your hands. Rescue me from those who hunt me down relentlessly.”

Have you ever planned what your future will look like? Have you ever sat down and given yourself a timeline of what you wanted to do and accomplish by a certain age? Where you would be. Where you would work. How much money you would make. These things are all a good thing to do and to have. The truth of the matter is that sometimes our life decisions can get in the way. I have often asked myself about plans that I have made. Where is God in my plans? Where did God tell me to do for the future? Is God the center of these plans?

HERE IT IS…

Often times when we make plans and try to give ourselves a timeline of what to do and when to do it we fail to ask one very important question. Where and when do you want me to go God? We fail to include God in our life plans and get his way first. I am not saying that the things that you want to do won’t happen or even happen the way you planned. I believe and can attest that when asking God to show us its gets scary because he may not give us the full picture. He may not give us everything because if he did we would go the opposite direction. But, just like the scripture says, we have to trust Him to lead and guide and direct our paths. Your time is coming but trust his timing not yours.

Who’s time

“This vision is for a future time. It describes the end, and it will be fulfilled. If it seems slow in coming, wait patiently, for it will surely take place. It will not be delayed.”

I like the saying it’s all in Gods timing. Why? Because it shows just how different our timing is from his. When we utter the phrase “in Gods timing” we are leaving it all up to God. What we see is the opportunity and the chance to have what we have been praying for. We see the opportunity to go after what he says is ours. We see the chance to move ahead because he said we would. Once we say those words we should have a understanding that just because we can see it doesn’t mean that it’s time. Just because it’s in front of us doesn’t mean that we can just jump in. There still may be issues and people and things that need to be taken care of before we obtain what we want and God has for us.

HERE IT IS…

You’re timing is and vision is not the same as Gods vision. There are times that you have to be able to see it and let it come to you. We are such a people that we get so excited to go after it that we fail to realize that Gods going to bring it right to us. Your blessing is coming. Your mate is coming. Your job is coming. You issue is coming to an end. You will receive everything that God has for you. You will see everything come to fruition. You will have it to be done for you. All you have to do is allow God to move on your behalf. It’s Gods timing not yours.

Who are you ?

“But you are not like that, for you are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light.”

Who are you? Once you take the emerging thoughts into who you are. Once you realize whose you are and what you have on the inside of you. When you finally see just what you are made up of then you will see just what God says you are. We have a lot of people saying what we are. You are just like your momma. Your just like your daddy. Your going to be this and that. You have a lot of opinions about who you are. Who does God say you are? Who does God say you will become? Who does God say you will impact by being who you are?

HERE IT IS…

God tells us just some of the things we are. God tells you all through his word who you will become and where you will end up being in Him. God tells us we are the head. God says you are of of royal priesthood. God said that you are a light to those in darkness. You are the salt of the earth. You are made to serve him. He created you to be a guide to others. You are chosen and unmatched. You are a child of God. You are a survivor. You are a conqueror. You are a king and Queen. You are an amazing attribute to this world. Who are you? Who are you? You are …
