Come back

“Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.”

We have heard a lot here recently about people being pardon for crimes that they did not forget. In those cases I often think about the movie Life with Eddie Murphy and Martin Lawrence. As funny as it is, it still shows just how the system has been gaining and controlling things of our black men. Yet some of them have been pardon for their actions and given their freedom back. No they can’t get those years back nor the things that they could have done back and now they have to start all over and have to learn how the world works now.

HERE IT IS…

Truth is we all have been prisoners to our own issues and situations that we have lost time off our life and when we come back to the Lord like the scripture says there is a time we have to get back into the swing of things. But, because of who God is we have the ability to have our time served placed on our life. We have to only find God for ourselves. We have the ability to come back to him and receive what he has for us even though we don’t deserve it. Search out for him while you have the chance to be able to experience something like never before.

Little while

“But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.”
‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭5:10‬ ‭KJV‬‬

It only for a little while! Hearing that while your in the midst of your situation makes you think to yourself, “it’s been to long already.” But thats while we are in the situation. Our view of the time we have been in it makes us focus on the length of time. What if you changed the way you looked at it? What if you actually looked at it as your on the way out instead of I’m in it? Truth of he matter is when your go into trouble you are actually on your way out.

HERE IT IS…

This verse helps us to understand that a lot better. He starts of by saying that we have grace in our side. Because of who God is He will not allow us to fail. Then he tells us what the end will be. The end is where God has called us to which is with Jesus in eternal Glory. When we get there he will make us perfect, Standish us(give us status), makes us strong and settle us in our rightful place. Hold on just a little while and see where He takes you.

Eat the right way

“Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price. Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness.”

The new wave of how to get fit and lean has been a big hit with people looking to do it without doing a whole lot of working out. Come to find out, that what you eat is more than half the battle. The way that food is being prepared now is not like it used to be. There are a lot of artificial things being put into the food today that affects your bodies ability to do what it’s supposed to do to keep it healthy. You have to be careful about the things that you eat.

HERE IT IS…

The NLT version ask this question. “Why spend your money on food that does not give you strength? “Why pay for food that does you no good?” Jesus said that he will supply all our needs. We will have living water. He told us that we would have a table prepared for us in the presence of our enemies. Don’t only take care of your physical body but also your spiritual body. Eat and drink the proper things that will feed your spirit as well as natural. Jesus will supply it all.

Go

“Whoever pursues righteousness and unfailing love will find life, righteousness, and honor.”
‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭21:21‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Have you ever pursued something in your life that you really wanted? Have you ever went after something so hard that you could taste it? It was in your hands and you knew exactly what you wanted to do with it? It becomes all to real and when you finally get it you start to think about all that goes into it! You know that this is what you prayed for. This is what you chased after. This is what you desired for so long.

HERE IT IS…

Do you chase after God this hard? Do you make all the necessary changes in your life to make room for God like you did after that thing you desired all your life? I tell you the truth that if we make the decision. If we make the changes in our life. If we decide to go after Gid the way we go after all those things we want, our life will be more than we can ever ask for. Chase after God. Go after him. Seek Him first and all those things you desire will be added to your life. Chase after God and you will find more than you ever will in the earth.

Faithful now

“He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭16:10‬ ‭KJV‬‬

You ever have a plan to do something with what you want to have? Where you your saying to yourself “if I get this house or car or something I’m going to make sure I take care of it!” Have you ever wanted something expensive and knew exactly how you were going to keep it clean? So what’s stopping you now? Why not take care of what you have now. I know it’s a Toyota and not a Lexus, but it’s yours. I know it’s an apartment and not a house but your in it. Good know it’s a bicycle and not a motorcycle but it’s yours.

HERE IT IS…

God sees how you care for the things that you have. God sees how you are treating what you have now and expect him to bless you with something that takes more care and love to handle. How do you expect God to bless you with more of the things you have now you can’t handle. Take care of what you have. It may be a small paycheck but be faithful. It may be old but be faithful. It may not be what you want but what you need right now but be faithful. If your faithful with what you have now, he will bless you with what you want later. It’s coming just be faithful.

Seedless

““Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing.”
‭‭John‬ ‭15:5‬ ‭NLT‬‬

I love grapes. Well, fruit in general matter of fact. Grapes are really good. It wasn’t until I got older that I realized that seedless grapes are modified not to grow seeds inside. Then I started realizing that there were others seedless fruits that were made in order for the convenience of not having to deal with the seed. When dealing with the seedless fruit you cannot take the fruit and place it in the ground and start to grow your own fruit bearing plant. Without the seed there is nothing you v man do but consume it.

HERE IT IS…

We can be just like those seedless fruit that if we are not connected to God we can do nothing. Once we are connected to God then we become apart of the ever growing tree from God. Not bearing fruit means there is more work involved just to be able to make what you have. Where as if your connected to God it flows and things around you flow and you can become something greater than you have ever imagined. Use your seed to continue to grow in Christ, instead of being spiritless.

He is faithful

“But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil.”
‭‭2 Thessalonians‬ ‭3:3‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Have you ever had to break up a fight? Had to jump in the middle of two people who were either already fighting or about to fight to stop them from fighting? It’s not easy to do especially when they are already ready to go in. When jumping in the middle you cannot just jump in and put your arms up to keep them apart. You have to literally take one person out of the situation physically so that no harm will be done to them or the other person. Sometimes in the process you may get hit or pushed.

HERE IT IS…

“But the Lord is faithful,…” That’s what he does for us when we are about to get into something that we shouldn’t or when the enemy tries to come in against us. God jumps right in the middle of us and the issue and he he makes sure we are safe to keep us from evil. All those times you should have been hurt. Those times you should have lost your mind. Those times that it looked like it was your time. But the Lord is faithful.

Listen

“But don’t just listen to God’s word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves. For if you listen to the word and don’t obey, it is like glancing at your face in a mirror. You see yourself, walk away, and forget what you look like.”
‭‭James‬ ‭1:22-24‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Do you hear what I hear? We can often times get hearing and listening mixed up. If you don’t have any problems with your ears we can all hear. Listening is being able to comprehend what is beating heard. We all hear when people speak. We all hear music. We all hear sounds but listening is singing along with the song. Listening is understanding what the person said. When you hear the word of God is it just that or are you listening to where you use the very thing you heard?

HERE IT IS…

If you have ears to hear the word of God make sure that your taking in what is being said to you through the word of God. Don’t treat Gods word like you are an adolescent and tired of hearing your parents talk so you shut them out. Listen and use what the Lord is saying. His word had been designed to lead you a long the right path. His word is designed to keep you from and to help you get out of trouble. His word is designed to help you to fulfill what he has for you. Hear his word. Listen to his word. Understand his word. Follow his word. Live his word.

Fruit

“Prove by the way you live that you have repented of your sins and turned to God.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭3:8‬ ‭NLT‬‬

When a tree with fruit grows, it all starts as a small little seed. It finds its way into good enough soil to start growing. While it is under the dirt it is protected from all of the conditions to a degree. It’s when it starts to sprout out of the dirt that it is exposed. It starts to feel what the weather is really like. How the winds blow and adapts to its environment. Sometimes a tree that bears fruit can grow string and have deep roots but the fruit it bears can be hard and bitter and not grow to its potential.

HERE IT IS…

The way that good looks at us is not only by what we do but also what fruit we bear. The change in us happens when we decide to leave those things that are not of God in effort to bear good fruit. Changing the way you live proves that you have changed sinful ways. Just going to the doctors office doesn’t make you better. But you have to go in put your name on the sign in sheet wait for them to call your name. Sit in the mat cold room and wait for the doctor to come in. When you talk to him he will be able to tell what’s going on by doing blood work and he will see if it matches to what you said.

Charity is Love

“Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,”
‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭13:4‬ ‭KJV‬‬

In the new versions of love they have replaced the word charity with the word love. Have you ever took the time to make sense of the word charity? By first definition it is recorded by Oxford Languages that charity is an organization that helps others. Charity is also recorded by the same as a body of organizations for fundraising and donations. It’s not until we get to about the third definition that it is used in the “Christian” sense. Charity is all of those things together. But just like the definitions it all depends on how you use it.

HERE IT IS…

This single verse starts off by telling us what is and is not. Yes, this point not only describes how we should view it but also how God views it. I mean if we were to be honest we would see that God has the right to take us out at anytime for the things that we have done but, “For God so LOVED the world…”. It’s the charity you have towards someone that transforms it into love. It’s the vision to see them do better that makes your love become stronger. It’s the charity that produces the ability to look past those wrong things. Your charity towards someone or something transforms into your love for them. Gods charity towards you is his love for you.
