Now Unto Him

You ever asked a child (or as a child been asked) to do something and they don’t move when you ask them to. It wasn’t a suggestion, it wasn’t a choice, it wasn’t a when you get done. This was a statement that disregarded what you were doing at that moment to do what I asked you to do. You come back and check if it’s been done and it wasn’t so you go and say to that child, “I thought I told you to..”. Then they look at you confused and you have to say NOW!

HERE IT IS…

That’s it that’s the post NOW! Don’t wait but do it NOW! Tomorrows not promised so praise him NOW! He didn’t wait to bless you so give Him the glory NOW! Why do it now? Because he is ABLE to do exceeding, abundantly ABOVE ALL that we can ask or think. How? It’s according to the power that’s working in us. What should we do? Give him glory in the church for ALL AGES and through the world without stopping! AMEN!

Word Up!

“But Jesus told him, “No! The Scriptures say, ‘People do not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.’ ””

One thing that I miss is the slang we used back in my day (I sound old). The crazy part is that sometimes when my sisters and brother get together we still use some of those terms we grew up on. Even my best friend from back home when we get together we use some old slang from high school. One in particular that I have noticed that has not changed is, Word Up! Word Up, a greeting or another way to say, YEAH! Also, a form of agreement with something. But can also be a surprise expression.

HERE IT IS…

When I try to do things on my own or I think that I have things under control. I have to remember that I need his word. I am convinced that from now until I die, that his words has to be in me. So now when I have an issue, oh word up! When things try to come my way Word Up! When the world try’s over take me, Word Up! When all these things happen I have make sure that I use the word because I know I cannot make it with out his word.

Never fails

“For the word of God will never fail.””

There have been so many people who have written books about things that will happen in the future. People have predicted social media and how it affects humans. They have written about diseases that would come. We have seen written predictions about presidents and and the outlining of how it would happen. Predictions about flying cars. All things and written decades or more before it actually happen.

HERE IT IS…

“For the word of God will never fail.””

Predictions are guesses made off of theory and logic. Gods word is not a guess or based off logic but it’s simply because God designed and orchestrated everything. The Bible even, in its state of missing books of today, still never fails. His promises never fail. His word never fails. His peace never fails. His love never fails. His thoughts towards us never fails. His hope never fails. His covering never fails. They wrote predictions based on guesses and logic. Gods word is based of the one who created it all. His word never fails.

Mirror mirror

“But don’t just listen to God’s word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves. For if you listen to the word and don’t obey, it is like glancing at your face in a mirror. You see yourself, walk away, and forget what you look like.”
‭‭James‬ ‭1‬:‭22‬-‭24‬ ‭NLT‬‬

“Mirror mirror on the wall…” do you remember that? That was apart of the story of Snow White and the seven dwarfs. This is where the magic mirror on the wall could show you what you ask for. In Snow White the evil Queen asked “who is the fairest of them all?” Her scheme required someone that is pure and of great beauty. The evil queen was the opposite of who Snow White is. The evil queen portrayed who we were before God and some of the stuff we haven’t let go of. Compared to what God says we can be just by following his word.

HERE IT IS…

Sometimes we look at Gods word like that. We read it and read it and think that some how some magical thing is going to happen when we look inside of it and see what we want to see. Then when God has to show us who we are first we stop reading it. We stop following his word. We do the opposite. If you just keep reading. If you just keep pushing. If you just keep praying. If you just keep seeking his face. He will wash us and make us white as snow. Follow his word and face the mirror and watch how you transform.

Hope and encouragement

“Such things were written in the Scriptures long ago to teach us. And the Scriptures give us hope and encouragement as we wait patiently for God’s promises to be fulfilled.”

My father dropped some real life gems on us growing up. This one here is something that I replay in my mind all the time. Not only to remind myself about stuff that I’m thinking about doing. Also to help me through stuff I’m going through. Truth of the matter I’m going through things in my life that hurt and have to make decisions that hurt, but I know that I have other people watching me. So the way that I handle my life lessons will be a lesson to someone else.

HERE IT IS…

We will go through things in life. Some places we have to wait for God to move. The great thing about God is that he won’t let you wait without some instructions. His word will instruct you on what to do while you wait. It will help to guide you through the issues. It will encourage you and build your faith in your moments of in between. Sometimes the way that you go through your stuff will help someone else to avoid it in their life. Or let them see what to do when they do go through something in your life. The scriptures were written to teach, give us hope and encourage you and I.

Ultra Light

“Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭119‬:‭105‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Each day, the sun rises to warm, illuminate, and provide growth on earth. The moon and stars light the night, serving as navigators long before smartphones. We reach for the light-switch when we enter a dark room, and we depend on our accumulation of knowledge to shed light on our lives. Light permeates into every crack and crevice of our lives and beings, whether visible, tangible in regard to warmth, or metaphorically enlightening. The origin of phos describes how light makes manifest, evident, exposed or clear. Light is required for any vegetation to grow, and THE light clarifies the human spirit.

HERE IT IS…

Light is everywhere. Just as God is omnipresent, so is Jesus as the light. There are no places that can hide from light. Even in complete and utter darkness light is still present. In order for darkness to allowed to exist a light must first expose itself. Created under the guise of absence of light, I would like to think different. Darkness is merely the setting of the light for it to rise again. His word guides us through our dark places and illuminates our path.

Delivered, Translated, Redemption

“who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: in whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:”
‭‭Colossians‬ ‭1‬:‭13‬-‭14‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Delivered – bring and hand over

Translated – move from one place or condition to another.

Redemption – the action of regaining or gaining possession of something in exchange for payment, or clearing a debt.

There is a process to everything we do. We have a process at work we use. We have a process to get our hair done or cut. We have a process we follow in our homes. We also have a process for salvation.

HERE IT IS…

You were handed over from the power of darkness. God literally made the enemy take his hands off you and bring you to him.
God moved you you from a place of sin to a place of power and love and grace and mercy.
He gave you what you didn’t and don’t deserve in exchange for His Son who died for us.
You have have been Delivered, Translated, and Redeemed.

Have you ever tried to be honest with someone? Have you ever tried to convey your true feelings and been shot down? Over talked? Misunderstood? Taken out of context? Or even just flat out disregarded. It’s tough to go through that and have those things happen. Almost makes you feel why even try, right! Get this, you’re making your thoughts and feelings known are not up for you to wait for interpretation or understanding. You are doing it out of courtesy so that nothing will be out of context. Wya your piece and pray.

HERE IT IS…

We should be able to come and talk to one another so that we can live healed. It not only affects your relationship with people but it also helps with your relationship with God. You’re living the way he showed us and taught us. We have to make sure that we are living for him. We have to make sure that we are being honest with Him ourselves and those around us. Speak your truth. Say your piece. Speak your mind. Do it so that you will be able to be in Gods will. Allow God to guide you in the way so that it will not be offensive or hurtful.

Only God

Yesterday I seen something that took me back down memory lane. I saw that the murder case of Tupac Shakur is an ongoing investigation. Apparently the authorities searched two houses that seemed to be in connection with the case that happen almost 30 years ago. Now, a lot have speculated that this is because of the East Coast and West Coast feud. You know the assumed war between Death row records and Bad Boy entertainment. Biggie and PAC. New York and California. From the East side to the West Side we heard about this fued.

HERE IT IS…

I don’t know how long it’s been since God solved your investigation! I don’t know how long it’s been since you were let go of the pain! I don’t know what happen all those years ago, but someone still needs to hear about what he did for you back then. I know it’s been a while and you may not know all the details. Some of the details may not have to be shared. The truth of the matter is that since that day back in 96, 86, or 72 God saved you from having to continue to go through it. I don’t know if it is California Love or if you were out here Getting Money. God saved you and only he can judge you now!

Once upon a time

“But you are not like that, for you are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light. “Once you had no identity as a people; now you are God’s people. Once you received no mercy; now you have received God’s mercy.””

I am not good at telling Once Upon A Time stories. I mean I will read them, but making one up on the spot is tough for me. I will be all over the place. “In a galaxy far far away”. I’ll be mixing reality and make believe at the same time. Once I get going I’ll make it a happy ending. It may take me a while to get there but I’ll get there. We can be like that sometimes in our spiritual walk. We can have the idea of a Once Upon A Time story. When in reality and make believe no one would believe the stuff we have survived.

HERE IT IS…

In the KJV it starts of verse 10 like this, “ In times past…” I don’t know about you but I can definitely look back over times that has passed. I know for a fact that didn’t act like royalty. I know for a fact I was never looked at as priestly. The only time I was called peculiar wasn’t a compliment. But I know who my God is. In times past I thought it was over. In times past I thought I wouldn’t make it. In times past I thought God left me. Once upon a time I had no identity, now I am Gods chosen, The End. Once upon a time I received no mercy, now I receive Gods mercy, The End. Once upon a time, in times past, God did it. THE END
