Release it

“give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭6:38‬ ‭KJV‬‬

In sixth grade I did a science experiment for the class that was supposed to be a rocket and show how when two things mix together it makes pressure enough to shoot the top into the air. I took an old two liter bottle and put vinegar in it. I wrapped baking soda into some foil and put it into the bottle. But it didn’t work right away because I wrapped the foil to tight. I had to get the foil back out and not make wrap it so tight.

HERE IT IS…

The scripture says that if you give it shall be given unto you. Sometimes we hold on to stuff so long and tight that we don’t allow God in to create a spiritual reaction. See when the baking soda and vinegar get together they create a gas and when trapped it releases whatever is trapping it. When it happens it explodes and runs over. We have to release those things and allow God to create the spiritual reaction to explode in our lives. Pressed down shaken together and running over. Release those things so God can release what he has for you.

Motivation

“and let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭10:24-25‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The definition of motivate is – stimulate (someone’s) interest in or enthusiasm for doing something.
Who have you motivated? Who has been that person that you push to pursue what God has given them? A lot of times it seems that we have issues with motivate someone. I’ll even go as far to say that that person that you motivate may take your motivation as a motive for something else.

HERE IT IS…

Your words and your pushing of someone may help someone to get to where they need to be. Even if that person looks at it as being a motive for something else. We have to push each other. Iron sharpens iron. We should be in a place that even if that person is going higher than us we need to push them to do it because we never know when we will need a push ourselves. Keep pushing them because it will help to push you.

Born again

He personally carried our sins in his body on the cross so that we can be dead to sin and live for what is right. By his wounds you are healed.
1 Peter 2:24 NLT

I can remember seeing my kids being born. I can remember seeing them being carried around for months and months and the changes that they experienced I side the womb. The way the ultra sound changed. The way they grew. How the doctor described what happened, what developed, what formed, what was created in each month. Being carried around for nearly a year and being born to see that whole process is amazing. New life given…

HERE IT IS…

Jesus carried your sins and mine for years inside so that you could be born again. You were developed inside of him and the different changes you went through to become who you are. To watch the spiritual ultra sound and see just how Jesus removed all those sins, one by one, so that you can have a new life. By his wounds, his spiritual C-section, his stretching and pulling of his skin. His ability to bear all the pain so that you can have life. Thank you God for your son who died so that we could have a right to salvation and eternity.

Cause and effect

“And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; and patience, experience; and experience, hope: and hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭5:3-5‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Cause and effect is a rule that says whenever something happens no matter what it is there is an effect of it. Whether that effect is positive or negative there will be an effect. Or to better say it like this, whenever something happens it effects other things around it to cause them to have something happen. We all have had this experience.

HERE IT IS…

Same is true with God. Even though something bad happens God gives us something out of it. If something bad happens God teaches us patience. In patience comes experience and in experience comes our hope. With hope comes the evidence of things not seen or faith. So don’t get upset or mad or distracted in the things that happens. Trust God and know that he is growing something greater from it. It all will work for your good.

GPS

“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”
‭‭John‬ ‭14:6‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Do you remember when there was no GPS? When you had to go to the gas station and get a map? When you systematically had to plan out your route and know the highway numbers and directions? It took some planning to take a trip years ago. You had to have a person be the navigator. You didn’t have the amount of miles to travel to being spoken to you. You literally had to be alert and find your way and know where you were going.

HERE IT IS…

The road to Jesus is like that GPS. The road to Jesus you have to be alert and look for the signs. The Holy Spirit is your navigator. You have to pay attention to the signs. You have to be alert. You have to follow the directions of the Holy Spirit. Listen to his voice and where he is telling you to go. Turn on your spiritual GPS and allow the Holy Spirit to guide you in the right direction.

Healed

“But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭53:5‬ ‭KJV‬‬

So had a great talk with my mom a while ago and just talking to her lifts my spirits every single time. While talking to her I was reminded of different things that she used to tell me about so that I wouldn’t have to go through them when I was growing up. A lot I didn’t listen to and had to deal with the consequences, I had the opportunity to not have to go through those issues because I had some loving people tell me what was going to happen if I did certain things but I didn’t listen…

HERE IT IS…

He was wounded for the things that we had already done. Are doing and about to do. Here is the praise in the text. Because of his stripes we are healed. Being healed doesn’t just mean of something that medically messes with our body. We are healed from those things that we go through. We are healed from our mental issues. Healed from our hurt. Healed from our problems. You have been healed now walk in your healing.

He saved you

For I am the least of all the apostles. In fact, I’m not even worthy to be called an apostle after the way I persecuted God’s church. But whatever I am now, it is all because God poured out his special favor on me—and not without results. For I have worked harder than any of the other apostles; yet it was not I but God who was working through me by his grace.
1 Corinthians 15:9‭-‬10 NLT
Remember when you were in that place in your life where you were just out in the world going crazy. I mean, when you were doing it you thought it was just the best thing and fun. But now you look back and think to yourself, “I was tripping”, right? You look back and just see where and what you were doing and how bad you were. It often may bring to your mind “God why me?”. Not as in why do I have to go through it, but instead, God why did you choose me? It’s hard to believe that as bad as we were God still saw the good in us. As bad as we were God decided to save us. As bad as we were God said that he will give us life more abundantly.
HERE IT IS…
Paul says;But whatever I am now, it is all because God poured out his special favor on me—and not without results. For I have worked harder than any of the other apostles; yet it was not I but God who was working through me by his grace.
1 Corinthians 15:10 NLTIt was not you who got you out but God.
It was not you who saved you, but God.
It was not you who drove you home when you were drunk, but God.
God is the one who saved you then and he has still saved you now!

It’s good

“My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.”
‭‭James‬ ‭1:2-3‬ ‭KJV‬‬

It’s hard to say it was a good thing that I went through tough times while your in the middle of it. It’s hard to say that this will be good for me while I’m in the midst of going through trouble. Matter of fact when I go through it I’m trying to get out of it as soon as possible. Trouble while I’m in it my vision is either set on the problem or on trying to get out. Truthfully speaking it’s all going to work out for your good.

HERE IT IS…

No matter what your going through there is something good that is happening while your in it. The hard part is trying to see it. This is where we have to redirect our vision on what God wants us and needs us to see in this case. The trouble is here, yes. The situation doesn’t feel comfortable, yes. The issue is causing you to do something that you have never done, yes. But because of who God is it will be used for your good.

Call his name

“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭10:13‬ ‭KJV‬‬

When I call he answers. When I am speaking he listens. When I cry out he is there to turn my issues around. When I need him he is always there. When I call his name he always comes to see about me. Calling just any name won’t do. My momma can only hello to a certain extent. My father can only help me to a certain extent. My wife can only help to a certain point.

HERE IT IS…

That’s it that’s the message. Just call in his name. When your feeling down. Call on his name. When your discouraged. Call his name. When your feeling depressed. Call his name. If you can’t think of anything else to do or say. Call on his name. When you call on his name he will show up and help you to to get to where you need to be.

What’s your story?

The high priest and his officials, who were Sadducees, were filled with jealousy. They arrested the apostles and put them in the public jail. But an angel of the Lord came at night, opened the gates of the jail, and brought them out. Then he told them, “Go to the Temple and give the people this message of life!”

Who wants to talk about the mistakes they made? Who wants to talk about being captured and having been caught doing something that got them in trouble? Who wants to actually admit they’re wrongs and faults openly so that people will judge and talk about them? I suspect no one does. I suspect that no one likes to be talked about, judge, looked at funny, cast to the side, or mistreated because of the things they have done. No one wants to talk about it at all…

HERE IT IS…

The apostles were arrested, cool! They were put in PUBLIC JAIL, cool! Guarded and watched, got it! Still told to GO and give a message of life. They say experience is the best teacher, right? To be honest there are some experiences I wish I would have learned by listening and not experience. When you talk about your life people may focus on the part of hell you went through. The issue of incarceration of trouble in your life. However, the part where you are released is the best part. You can tell your story and celebrate because you made it through everything the devil through at you. Slipped and stumbled and fell along the way. Thank God I made it out…
